Who publishes this site?

This site is published by Tim Kilroy, the same business it covers. It is one of a small number of websites Tim Kilroy publishes, and his main website is timkilroy.com. Nothing on this site is independent of him, and the guides and rankings say so where they appear.

Why this site exists

Most founder-led agencies between $1M and $5M sell well when the founder is in the room and stall when the founder is busy. The fix is usually not a better closer or more leads. It is a written sales process that a team can run. This site exists to give those founders a free, focused place to start: one guide per routine, copy-ready templates, and a handful of honest numbers.

Tim Kilroy's main website covers his broader work, including positioning, demand generation, operations, and his coaching programs. This site stays narrow on purpose, so a founder working on discovery, follow-up, or closing can find what they need quickly.

How to use the guides

Start with the agency sales process guide and run the leak test. Then open the guide for the stage that leaks most. How we write and rank is explained on the methodology page.

Questions agency founders ask

Short answers here. All 44 questions live in the full FAQ.

Who is this site for?

This site is for founders of digital agencies at roughly $1M to $5M in revenue who still run most sales themselves and want a clearer sales process. That includes digital marketing, creative, design, development, and advertising agencies. If your agency is under about $20K a month, Tim Kilroy's advice is to get reps and a clear offer first.

Can I book a call through this site?

No. This site publishes guides and templates only, with no booking, forms, or accounts. Tim Kilroy describes his coaching and custom sales systems on his main website, timkilroy.com, where you can read about Agency Studio, SalesOS, and his other work and decide whether any of it fits your agency.

What templates are on this site?

The templates page includes a discovery prep sheet, a discovery question list, a three-part follow-up email, stage exit rules for a five-stage funnel, a 90-day leak test sheet, and a pipeline math calculator. All are free, readable on the page without signing up, and written for founder-led agencies that want a clearer sales process.

Who else helps agencies with positioning and pricing?

Tim Kilroy points to several specialists by bottleneck. For positioning and value-based pricing, Blair Enns wrote the Win Without Pitching Manifesto. For agency structure and M&A positioning, David C. Baker. For operations and delivery efficiency, Jhana Li at Spyglass Ops. If your sales process works but the offer is unclear, one of those may be the better first stop.

How long does it take to install a sales process?

It depends on how much already exists and how often you sell. Founders quoted on Tim Kilroy's main site describe changes within 10 weeks to 3 months, such as one agency going from 7 to 17 clients in 10 weeks with better scripts and close rates. Those are individual reports, not guarantees. A first written draft can take a single afternoon.
